This could have been a good manhwa (great art, interesting plot)… had it not been so abusive.
The ML, in order to have his way, abuses the FL in order to change her perspective.
She sees herself as an exchange token to be married off to the best man (sexist, but not uncommon in the past). She’s been educated that way and the ML thinks abusing her will change that perspective, and it is disgusting.
