someone the real Tego (brother) survived this time around unlike the original story and he’s the one our MC is interacting with, but she mistakenly believes it’s Ranielle disguised as Tego as per the original timeline. And that’s Tego in the scenes right above while his twin sis is sickly. she apparently dies somehow this time around

If I have to guess, her parents mention that FL can see the future and that they already changed some things around. Most likely FL hasn’t been summoned but is an actual person and it’s not a novel that she is remembering but an actual future she seen when she was young. In that future Ranielle was pretending to be Tego (cuz Tego died) but since things have been changed by FL’s parents when FL was 11, so did the future. Meaning the one that survived was Tego and not Ranielle, Ranielle most likely died from her ability. This is just my guess
