I’m not torn at all honestly. He deserves to suffer. What she went through was crap, he had crap history too, but she remained kind and good despite it, even to him although he’s her tormentor. but he is vengeful and hateful. I feel like he would need to bury the sea with mountains of salt to earn her forgiveness.

I don’t think he should be blamed as her tormentor :/ he didn’t intentionally make her miserable. yeah, I don’t like the fact that he was a bad husband but… he wasn’t doing what all the other nobles were. They stole her land, locked her up, essentially poisoned her for three years… all he did was not give her the attention she needed and was too late in being the kind husband he should have been from the beginning.
