OMG!! I literally was thinking this too. Especially when in the very early chapters Lari pointed out Tory’s similar hair and eye colour to Rupert. And then when we saw that he is basically a replica of his mother, it made me believe he created Tory almost to replace his mother or something. So that he has someone who will always care for him.
Prediction time ok but what if tory is just sick and has some illness that makes her this way but I also like the theory that she was created by magic from Rupert and that now that he doesn’t need her anymore she’ll die and because of that she tries to push people away because it’s like the side of Rupert that he left behind.
