Let me guess, the ML’s backstory is gonna “redeem” his behavior to the FL? His backstory is sad and all but how he acts doesn’t balance it out.

But seriously, the author should have put the children with blonde or brown hair just like their parents. Did the author think the readers will subconsciously embrace the children more if they change the hair color to match the FL’s?
