“That life was better than losing you” she lost everything because of you and still you’re so selfish to not even think that she might not want to be coddled and protected like a doll? To the point where she has to BEG for you to not harm people who are upset with the government just because they touched her despite the fact NOBODY WAS HARMED???? I hate this ML.

Ailec is SO selfish. He doesn’t seem to care how much she suffers or how miserable she is, as long as she is with him. He treats her like a possession he is entitled to. In their first life, She was trapped; a slave for him. Granted she was feed well and clothed better as Empress, but she still suffered all sorts of abuse from poisoning to mental and emontal trauma.
He still doesn’t see her as an equal in this life. He has done nothing to redeem himself and by not listening to her concerns, he is only driving her further away. I know he needs time to set plans in motion, but he still seems to be putting his needs and wants first. If he really wants things in this life to be better with his wife, focusing on her needs and wants should be his priority
